Naumi Clinched Best Interior Design For Suite At The Inaugural Asia Hotel Design Awards 2015

SINGAPORE, 13 March 2015 – Naumi Hospitality is pleased to announce that its flagship hotel in Singapore, the 73-room Naumi, clinched the award for “Best Interior Design For Suite” with local design studio, White Jacket’s Andy Warhol-inspired room design at the inaugural Asia Hotel Design Awards ceremony on 12 March 2015. Launched by Sleeper, organiser of the European Hotel Design Awards, this event was held as part of Singapore Design Week and runs alongside Hospitality 360° - a new exhibition for the hotel sector.

Each of Naumi’s guestrooms is a modern take on stylish living and offers guests a tranquil sanctuary right in the heart of Singapore. Artistic license reigns in the winning design - Andy Warhol inspired rooms, Eden and Nirwana. Decked out to resemble a swanky New York penthouse apartment, the oversized bed takes centrestage, with a large circular bathtub hidden behind a revolving screen. Its decadent yet stylish design featured funky shapes, dramatic pops of colour as well as iconic arm chair, “La Mamma” by B&B Italia, paired with floor lamp, “Fork” by Diesel Foscarini.

Guests can also expect to find within their room, Apply TV and AirPlay Mirroring, seven-layered bedding in 400 thread-count Egyptian cotton, luxurious bath amenities by Malin+Goetz, high-speed WIFI and Nespresso coffee machine. For more information, please visit

The first-ever Asia Hotel Design Awards hosted over 300 key influencers from the hotel design world and seek to celebrate incredible new hotel projects by architects and designers for their clients across the Asia Pacific region over the past 12 months. A total of 48 projects were nominated across 12 categories, from over 150 initial entries.

Award-Winning Naumi Hotel Reopens Its Doors More Stylish Than Ever

Singapore, November 2013 - Following a multi -million dollar renovation, Naumi Hotel Singapore reopens her doors to the public this month.

With newly-renovated interiors by the multi-disciplinary design studio, White Jacket, Naumi Hotel’s new look features 73 stylish guestrooms, several fully-equipped meeting and event spaces, the new destination restaurant Table by Rang Mahal, and a re-designed infinity pool offering spectacular views of the Singapore skyline.

The hotel provides a rejuvenating retreat for both business and leisure tr avellers. Indulgently designed rooms feature designer furnishings, functional work desks with built in phone chargers for Apple devices, Blackberry and Samsung phones, seven layer bedding in 400 thread-count Egyptian Cotton, premium bath amenities from organic New York brand Malin + Goetz, complimentary high-speed WiFi, Apple TV ’ s AirPlay Mirroring allowing guests to screen what’s on their Apple devices to the television, as well as a complimentary well -stocked minibar.

Other guestroom highlights include the Naumi Angels, who, during turndown service, go to every room to offer complimentary drinks to guests, magic glass in all bathrooms to ensure privacy as well as sound-proofed rooms by a Parisian acoustic expert to ensure a great night’s rest.

What’s more, Naumi pays attention to the special needs of the female traveller, dedicating an entire floor for added privacy and soft lighting for picture perfection. Within each room, guest can pamper themselves with complimentary use of hair straighteners, yoga mat and sanitary products.

Naumi’s interiors serve as a perfect backdrop, from original design furniture pieces by B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau, Zanotta, Tom Dixon and Artemide amongst others, to an impressive collection of specially commissioned art pieces such as a six-foot tall spray painted policeman by graffiti artist
Tr853-1, Lenticular by Singapore based award-winning photographer Olivier Henry and That time of the day, you told me a story, a video installation by Aiman, which are exhibited throughout the hotel.

The exclusive Chanel and Warhol inspired rooms encapsulate the new Naumi look as they have been styled with interesting shapes and dramatic pops of colour, imitating the artists’ visions. Design also features in the staff uniforms. Created by DEPRESSION, the uniforms have been designed to emanate contemporary runway clothing. With an avant-garde twist, the women’s uniform features a soft yet structural cape with gold collar clips, while the men wear a deconstructed blazer with a modern split tailcoat.

Table by Rang Mahal, the hotel’s new all-day dining restaurant extends a holistic dining experience that Rang Mahal Restaurants is best known for. Serving up a diverse range of contemporary cuisine with Indian influence, the menu begins the day with a healthy breakfast specially developed by Naumi Hotel for a fresh start as well as a unique power breakfast for business travellers. Breakfast highlights also include fresh fruit juice and vegetable juice shots with beauty benefits such as collagen.

On top of breakfast, Table also features all day-dining and bento lunches designed for efficient, speedy lunches for business travellers.

Set amidst the Singapore skyline, Cloud 9, the already famous infinity pool has awe-inspiring views of the Singapore skyline and has been redesigned to accommodate 18-45 guests, perfect for private events and intimate solemnisations by the pool. Naumi Hotel offers meeting and events spaces, with flexible configurations for up to 20 guests. Naumi Earns 2012 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence

Singapore - 28 May 2012 – Naumi is proud to announce that it has received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence award for the second year running. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve highly positive traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this award.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Naumi Liora Arrives in Chinatown

Singapore - 8 March 2012 - Naumi is delighted to announce that it will be opening the doors of her second hotel in Singapore at Keong Saik Road in October 2012. Upon completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation, the former Saff Hotel will be rebranded as Naumi Liora.

Naumi Goes Smart with Mobile Website

Singapore - 21 February 2012 - Naumi is proud to announce the launch of a new customer focused solution – guests can now conveniently access hotel information and confirm room reservations from any Web-enabled mobile device at

Created with simplicity and functionality in mind, a mobile-friendly version of the site optimized for smart phones was developed, providing a rich user experience with speed, convenience and functions of the full Web site for mobile users.

Within minutes, users may access information and view images of rooms and facilities, special offers, and book a room on a mobile-friendly reservations page. The personal touch is not lost, however, as Naumi staff are just a “push-to-call” or “push-to-email” away.

According to a post in May 2011, Google Mobile Ads Blog reported that “19% of hotel queries come from mobile devices” and that user queries mainly involved researching, booking and sharing their travel plans and experience.

Naumi Acquires a Second Hotel in Singapore

7 September 2011 – The multi award-winning boutique hotel, Naumi, is set to open its second hotel in 2012. This announcement follows the sale of The Saff by The Royal Peacock Hotel Pte Ltd to the Hind Group for slightly under $42.1 million.

Similar to Naumi Hotel at Seah Street which was retrofitted from the former Metropole Hotel in 2007, the second hotel at Keong Saik Road will also be refurbished to a trendy, upper class development with 79 designer rooms. The hotel, which has yet to be named, will borrow its modern concept from Naumi; but unlike its luxurious and contemporary counterpart, it will offer a trendier vibe to the well-heeled traveler seeking a quality hotel in a quaint location and at affordable rates.

“The Naumi brand appeals to business travellers, couples, families, and various groups across the market; and Chinatown is an immensely popular destination with a rich heritage that appeals to a wide range of market segments. This new addition gives guests the option between our luxury and value brands, providing two distinct and attractive choices within prime locations. We are very pleased to be adding this development to our portfolio,” says Mr Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, Director of Naumi Hotels Pte Ltd.

The total refurbishment is targeted to be finalized in the first quarter of 2012, after legal completion of the acquisition. This will add to the existing number of 40 rooms under Naumi Hotel’s management, bringing it to a total of 119. The group has further expansion plans for more hotels in Singapore and in the region, with key countries such as Australia and Vietnam targeted as the next growth phase.

26 July 2010 – Always one to embrace the new, and in this case technology, Naumi has introduced the sexy & savvy iPads as service touch points at its Front Desk and F&B areas like Naumi Bar & Lounge.

iPad, being a mobile and powerful communication platform allows Naumi guests to provide their guest feedback online when they check out. A host of other information such as destination attractions, company profile, facilities’ photos and F&B menus can also be browsed in the various e-books incorporated in the iPad.

The user experience and interface is truly made more interactive with iPad.
